Naked Walrus, 3 By Design, High Sunday, Attaloss

The legendary Troubadour played host to some diverse musical talent on Tuesday, August 16th, and all were based from the Los Angeles area.

We started off the evening with the guys from alternative rock band, Naked Walrus, and its driving rock. The quartet is out supporting their upcoming single release "Minus" from their forthcoming "Simple EP" in November. You might want to checkout their listening party on September 10th in Santa Barbara, CA.

3 By Design is a hard rock band with the driving bass, hard drumline and melodious lyrics that will remind you of hard rock bands like Shinedown, Dream Theater and Black Stone Cherry. It makes you want to bang your head to the beat, pump your fist and sing along at the top of your lungs.

Now here is where we go off the rails and take the Hip-Hop train to High Sunday. A lucky 7 piece group lead by the dueling voices of Ike Williams and Nick Fazekas. This group's vibe makes the knees bend and the booty bop, dancing just became a part of your nights agenda whether you expected it to or not.

Closing our musical night is Attaloss. The rock quintet has a newer, hipper rock feel to it along the lines of bands like American Authors and The Maine. Led by singer Danny Aguiluz, this group is Los Angeles. Made up of musicians all having moved from different parts of the world to come together and make a musical dream come true. The energy vibe is off the charts with the crowd interaction and the catchy, infectious songs. You sing, you dance, you feel a part of the group. A definite must see live. Check out their self-titled album while waiting to see what these guys are going to give us as a follow up.

Colours

On Tuesday May 24th in Boston, Florida based band Colours took the stage by storm. Signed to Victory Records, dynamic duo Kyle Tamo (vocals) and Morgan Alley (drums) played to a sold out crowd of fans screaming in excitement and clapping along to every song! The audience, including myself, was hooked on this band from the moment they walked on stage to the second they walked off. Colours was truly mesmerizing and left fans wanting more as concert goers shouted "One more song!" Kyle Tamo's powerhouse of a voice with an impressive vocal range combined with Morgan Alley's perfect timing and bold sounds on drums makes for an unforgettable, unique performance that you will want to experience for yourself!
